Siddhartha essay

In life everyone has different ways of doing things. But that doesn't mean that just one of those ways is the right way so long as the goal is reached. In the book Siddhartha he goes to buy a harvest of grain but someone had already bought it so he stayed a few days in the town and when he got back Siddhartha said. " I have found friendship... I've neither harmed myself nor others by annoyance and hastiness. And if I'll ever return there again, perhaps to buy an upcoming harvest, or for whatever purpose it might be, friendly people will receive me in a friendly and happy manner". This supports my idea becasue Siddhartha went on the trip and dide things his way and when he came back Kamaswami scolded him but Siddhartha's way also worked and will help him in the long run so there was multiple ways to do the task. In my life I had a simulare situation were I needed to do my homework. My mom wanted me to do it at home but one day I went over to my friend's house and did my homework there instead of going home and doing it so when I got home my mom wanted me to go and do my homework i already had it done so it became my regular thing to do. this suports me because i came up with a new way to do my homework and it worked so i just kept on doing it. that is why i think that there are many diferent right ways to do something and not just one.

  1. Your paragraph would earn a B- in a 5-paragraph essay. Your illustration about homework demonstrates your point, but your interpretation of the quote from the book is not so clear. What's missing is a suggestion that the author Herman Hesse is advocating doing things differently.
